Definitely worse than the PC version due to the limitations of a controller vs. a keyboard. The worst change they made to this version is making all characters and monsters always in hand-to-hand combat. I also don't remember the scaling for the encounters in the PC version, but it's been at least 5 years since I played the PC version.
I'd still give it an 8/10.
