I did a playthrough topic while playing, which added probably well over 10 hrs.

I hadn't played this since I beat it when I bought it almost 25 years ago. The only negative I can say about it is that there are a lot of pop culture references, but none of them are during important dialog that I can think of. I also don't mind them. People complain about Working Designs' addition during localization of needing to spend Magic Experience to save, but this becomes a non-issue by about the 5 hr mark, as you'll be getting enough to save from a single encounter. And even before that, it only takes a few battles to gain the needed M Exp. They removed the Magic Experience, which allows you to choose which spells you can level up (the ones you don't learn from normally leveling up) from the PS1 remake, which is the main reason why I prefer the Sega CD version. This also means the PS1 remake has no cost to save.

This is definitely among my top 5 JRPGs.
