First time I ever played it. Took about 3 days. Achieved max score.
An item necessary to complete the game should not have the chance of being stolen. Climbing the beanstalk is evil - I couldn't imagine attempting it back in the ‘80s with the number of times you will need to save and reload due to how easy it is to fall. Had to use a walkthrough once to finish (a couple times to get max score) due to a required random event not happening the first several times I was where the event occurs.
