Beat game modes 1-5 (of 9), taking about an hour to do so.
While I found it to be decent, the higher difficulty modes seem to turn into getting lucky as to where the items are. I had way too many instances of the enemies appearing just as I was about to take the stairs, making those deaths completely unavoidable if I hadn't lucked into finding the scepter that makes you invulnerable to the enemies. I ended up having to create a map of the mansion myself, since the one in the manual is wrong in a few places as to which doors are locked -- plus, not having a paper manual meant I couldn't refer to the map while playing anyway, but at least this compilation includes scans of all of the games' manuals. I could have kept playing until I lucked into very fortunate item placements to beat the remaining 4 modes, but I didn't like it enough to do that.
