My third playthrough.

I've knocked this down from a 10/10 to a 9/10 due to several annoyances:
Changing out party members is a chore, having to go to the Airship, take off, get out of flight mode, go into the airship, talk to someone roaming around, lift off, land (if you aren't planning to fly somewhere else).
Only being able to change equipment of current party members is also annoying.
I really got sick of the timed sequences, and there are quite a lot of them.
The encounter rate was a little high for my taste -- this makes the game extremely easy if you aren't running from a lot of battles or have the Relic equipped that eliminates encounters.
Enemies attacking between the time you enter a character's command and that character executes the command seems to me to go against the idea of ATB.

Other than those, I like everything else about the game. I've always really liked the Esper system and how everything a character learns actually stays with the character to use at any time (which is what I don't like about FF's Job system in other games -- a character can only use a couple skills that were learned from Jobs that character dropped).
