I beat all four Grand Prix on Master once, as well as beating the default Championship Mode course record holder's time. The only thing I didn't unlock is that last vehicle by beating all the GP on Master with the other 8 vehicles, or by racing the Championship course 255 times, which I'm not interested in doing right now.

F-Zero (SNES) has rubber banding, but not this bad, and I've gotten to where I really dislike that convention. No matter how well you race, you will not be more than about 1 second ahead of 2nd place. When you use turbo boost and the Check never disappears from the screen, that's just ridiculous. I swear your competitors aren't interested in taking the best line around the track, but rather are just trying to run into you. I had a few times when I collided with a vehicle that I was jumping over and had plenty of clearance.

It does have a nice number of tracks with 4 GPs of 5 tracks each, plus the Championship Mode track. It also doesn't get ridiculous with vehicles to unlock with there being 5 total. I did like the majority of the tracks. It does support up to 4-player multi-player with GBA link cables (or whatever they're called).
