This is a short little adventure mode for the classic arcade game Dig Dug. It consists of 5 areas with 7 levels each, with the last level of each area being a boss battle. It takes a little over a half hour to play through the entire mode. It has unlimited continues, making it turn into a choice not to beat it. There is also a Free Play mode where you can play any of the 35 levels individually.

It's been many, many years since I last played the arcade game, but I don't recall there being any power-ups. This has a handful of power-ups that allow you to dig faster, move faster, automatically pump by holding down the fire button, and a few others. There are never more than about a half-dozen enemies in the playing field -- the boss levels have a never-ending stream of them.

The only negative I have is the convention of moving based on an invisible grid of squares where if you are one pixel into the next square and you want to change direction, Dig Dug has to move all the way into the new square he's facing before changing directions. This probably caused most of my deaths, once I got the hang of the game.

If you have a little time to kill, this is a decent game to do so with.
