KOed the computer on the hardest setting.

IMO, the only setting to play on is the hardest (I guess) setting, since the boxers move around extremely sluggishly on the lower speed settings, meaning that you really can't dance around much since you really can't create any separation. At the higher speed, you'll actually swap sides a few times in the 2:00 round and it really becomes fun. Don't go in expecting much as it has about the same level of depth as Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots.

Winning one match on any difficulty setting (winning by points is enough) unlocks a pretty neat Activision corporate video advertisement from 1982.

I'd played it on another Activision collection on a Game Boy system at a friend's, but didn't know about the difficulty settings (I probably didn't read the manual if it was included). It became a lot more fun once I changed the difficulty.
